Painting is my response to daily life. It can be music, the written word or a reaction to what surrounds me. I am continually amazed by the energy an open mind can bring when surrendering to rational thought. Often letting colours and images present themselves to me without question, letting whatever I am working on reveal its essence without too much calculation.
