I am a landscape painter focused on capturing the vitality of the natural world. My work is poised between what I observe and how I feel. I always start with figurative enplein air sketches developed in the studio into more lyrical works. Authentically depicting a specific location and moment in time is central to my work. My painting is characterised by pure colour on untreated white surfaces.
