April Young is an established British artist who works in a number of two and three dimensional media. Her work is concerned with the expression of life through figurative study. As well as producing a variety of sensitively handled animal studies, her concepts are enriched by the influence of folklore, literature and mythology. The horse is a frequent motif in her work across all media.
